Miss Carrie Knows (MCK) that miscarriage statistics can be extremely dramatic and, when going through one, they can be very hard to understand. Today, miscarriage reportedly occurs in more than 20 percent of all pregnancies. However, according to some sources, this may be an inaccurate number. Many women, before realizing a life has begun forming within them, may miscarry without knowing it. Therefore, the miscarriage rate may be closer to 40 or 50 percent. Of the number of women who miscarry, 20 percent will suffer recurring miscarriages. The range of emotions during or following a miscarriage can be overwhelming and enormous. Women may suffer from shock, guilt, helplessness, fear and anger all while grieving the loss of an unfulfilled dream and resentment for life's unfairness. 

MCK’s goal is to make women realize that they’re not alone and that there are many more women out there who are in the same predicament with little or no information to answer their questions and concerns regarding what has just happened to their body and their emotions.  Miscarriage is such a taboo in social circles that sometimes women crave to discuss it only to find that not many other women are comfortable to talk about it face to face, almost ashamed. The community will provide an outlet for women to express their emotions, experiences, knowledge and support to one another through messages or wall posts on their profiles whether they are outright or anonymous.
